This is a picture from the Blvd. Really dark. All those pictures up on the wall are from Old Hc Dude. Well most of them. The Blvd. has a lot of crust/grindcore/some hardcore shows. Nice taco place next to it. On a main street. There is a bar inside and a room for the band to play. With a place to stand in the back outside. There are no in-n-outs i think. The owner is a nice guy. I remember watching a lakers game at the Blvd.
Ze Cobalt cafe!
Been going there since I was 14 (the ideal age no?) The walls always change in the back. the cobalt is one of the places to have shows in the valley (sadly). They do have some bad rep but some of the guys there are nice (like Adam :] ). I have seen it filled up and the opposite for bands. Mostly all types of genres play. The other day i passed by and said hello to Adam and there was a ska band playing. Two Hearts promotions books a lot of shows there, hardcore and other stuff. Bane, Alpha & Omega, Soul Control, Another Breath (that was a sad show but the guys were funny), Backtrack, Harms way, Donnybrook, Comeback Kid, Mother Of Mercy (i think he broke his finger or something cause it was crooked) , Bracwar, Rhinoceros, even some good crust bands.... blah the list goes on. I just named most of the hardcore bands that have played from the top of my mind. I dread the venue but I love it.
