Lets celebrate this holiday with our own DIY gifts. Screw those stores that want you to buy gifts. Screw those advertisements. Screw everything that wants to sell to you.
Also lets keep this in a level of equality where we both try to make something appreciative for one another. Let's not praise one sex over the other. I notice how this holiday it marketed towards males to buy grifts for women (around where I live at least) but it should be both ways. It should be every way! Because we have opposite gender and same gender relationships. It's a (hallmark card) holiday, but we can still view it as an excuse to go all out for each other a few times a year.
